At this station, the screen has been configured to simulate a colour vision deficiency. Colour vision deficiency affects approximately 1 in 12 men (8%) and 1 in 200 women.
The eyes of people with colour vision deficiency don't pick up certain colours of light. This can make it hard to tell different-coloured things apart, or to notice things on a similarly-coloured background.
Colour is often used to differentiate positive and negative annotations on marked work. Students with colour vision deficiency won't be able to tell these apart, or might not even be able to see them.
